Should Diwali be celebrated?

In my opinion, yes, people should be able to use fireworks on Diwali. Most people would agree Diwali is just another thing based on religion, I think all religions should be respected and accepted. Although there are major cons, there are also major pros. Sure, they go nearly all night but at least it’s for a good cause. Remember, Diwali IS a festival. A festival of new beginnings and more. It’s just like New Year. So if we can celebrate New Years eve why can’t we celebrate Diwali? What is your opinion on Diwali? Do you think it should be celebrated?

Camp

Next week, I am going to camp and this is how I feel about it. I am feeling nervous but kind of excited I'm only feeling this way, because the stuff my brother said about camp and it was not the best and I take too long to get out of bed at least an hour. I've already got a lot of stuff for camp. I have packed sleeping bag, sunblock, hat, toiletries, water bottle ect.

A New Tomorrow

At the end of the day there's a new tomorrow.

At the end of tomorrow there's a new day.

So we shall all bury our sorrows,

let us all borrow the peace from,

The infants, crying, laughing and eating.

The children, screaming, play battling and chatting.

The teenagers, gossiping, partying and learning;

The wonders of the world.

To the adults, adventuring, working and living.

So come, until we enter

A new tomorrow.

How I Feel About Kapa Haka

I think Kapa Haka makes me feel welcomed to New Zealand because it makes me feel like i'm native to New Zealand.

Kapa Haka is also very fun to practice at any time of the day, doing Kapa Haka is also a very great way to express emotion.

Polynesian Black Panthers Movement

I think the Polynesian Black Panthers movement protest was a good idea/ Due to the fact the government sent countless people were sent out of the country because of their race, the protest helped showing justice to those who's families got sent out of the country only because of race.

Online shopping or physical shopping?

With online shopping, you can usually find better deals. Online shopping is also a lot more fast and efficient Because you won't need to go around different stores for hours. Also with online shopping you can avoid large crowds and lines.

With physical shopping, you are able to see the item in person, preventing scam. Also you can get the item straight away, so you don't have to wait a while. You can also meet up with family and friends you haven't seen in a while.

In my opinion, I say physical shopping is better. The reasons are more reasonable and I personally don't like waiting, so I'd personally say physical shopping is better.

We should be able to eat food in class.

We should be able to eat food in class because it helps you focus, focusing is good for school because that way you can get more work done helping achieve many goals, without eating starve, making you focus a lot less. Another reason is because it makes you a lot more energetic meaning you could do a lot more working without slacking off/being tired. Studies show that food enhances memory, so during a test a good snack would help. The last reason is because you get more playtime during break times, so you don't have to spend half an hour eating, food is also healthy for your brain. It says when you eat it wakes up your brain.

Market place

In the bustling market, there stood stalls and even more stalls with fresh food, games, accessories etc. At these markets there would be tons of people, people are always fighting about the lines, many fights break out. The markets usually smell like food or some chemicals. The market is usually filled with noise and riots.

What Do I See?

What Do I See? I see the strong current push against the wide rocks.

What Do I See? I see the crystal blue water rushing.

What Do I See? I see the tall, yellow cliff sides.

What Do I See? I see the rushing waterfalls, as white as a cloud.

The Lockdown Was Usual Enough

The lock down was usual enough.

It had empty streets, long lines, bacteria, and even a playground I never went to.
Me and my brother did what normal kids do, stayed home, went biking, ate a lot of food, slept, went stargazing, school work,

Doing nothing important.

My Lock Down Reflection

Lock down was VERY boring, we had to stay home for 2 months, we couldn't go anywhere.. I noticed that I was very clumsy and played roblox most of the time, I didn't think much of it until we couldn't even get food, I was very fussy and lazy. I also noticed how my brother stopped coming out of his room. He only ever went out to get food or snacks. My parents mainly stayed in the living room, I realized that not a lot of people in my neighbor hood went outside to have a walk, I noticed my neighbor mainly went outside biking, it was very silent during the lock down. All i ever did was play roblox, read books or watch TV. It wasn't very amusing, I remember thinking "This is great! No school..!" But now that I look back at it, I regret saying that. I learnt that NZ dealt with the situation very well, better than most countries. I also learnt that school is better then staying home all day.
